Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Hospitality Intern to join our dynamic team in Sandton, Johannesburg. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various departments within a leading hotel brand. You will support daily operations, learn about guest services, and contribute to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and general inquiries, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Support front desk operations, including managing reservations and handling guest requests.
• Learn and assist with food and beverage service, including restaurant, bar, and event support.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization in guest areas and back-of-house operations.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions to understand hotel operations.
• Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
• Observe and learn from experienced professionals in different hotel functions.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold company service standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a hospitality management program.
• Previous customer service experience (even if informal).
• Familiarity with hotel operating systems (e.g., Opera PMS) is a plus but not required.
• Multilingual abilities.
