Job Description
We are seeking an exceptionally talented and visionary Head Chef to lead the culinary operations at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek. This pivotal role demands a leader who can inspire a high-performing team, innovate with seasonal ingredients, and uphold the Mansion’s legacy of culinary artistry. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our diverse food and beverage offerings, including our signature restaurant, banqueting, in-room dining, and special events. You will be instrumental in maintaining our esteemed reputation, crafting unforgettable menus, and ensuring every dish served is a testament to quality and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of culinary professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
 - Develop and execute innovative and seasonal menus that reflect the hotel's luxury brand and appeal to diverse guest palates.
 - Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency.
 - Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost control to achieve financial objectives without compromising quality.
 - Ensure strict adherence to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
 - Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Director and other department heads to align culinary strategy with overall hotel objectives.
 - Stay abreast of industry trends, new techniques, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
 - Handle guest feedback and special requests with professionalism and promptness.
 - Participate in marketing and promotional activities related to the hotel's culinary offerings.
 
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment.
 - Exceptional culinary skills with a deep understanding of diverse cooking techniques and global cuisines.
 - Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of mentoring and developing kitchen staff.
 - Excellent knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
 - Proficiency in menu development, costing, and inventory management.
 - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
