Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Guest Relations Officer to join our prestigious team at Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi City. This is a fantastic opportunity for an English-speaking professional with a passion for luxury hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, responsible for ensuring their stay is seamless, comfortable, and memorable from arrival to departure. Visa sponsorship will be provided for eligible international candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and register guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.
- Act as a central point of contact for all guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Provide comprehensive information about hotel facilities, services, local attractions, and dining options.
- Assist guests with reservations, transportation arrangements, and special requests, including tours and activity bookings.
- Proactively anticipate guest needs and offer personalized recommendations to enhance their stay.
- Maintain accurate guest records and preferences to ensure a tailored experience for returning guests.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback with empathy and efficiency, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with all hotel departments (Housekeeping, F&B, Concierge) to ensure coordinated service delivery.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards at all times.
Required Skills
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera PMS)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Positive attitude and a genuine desire to assist guests
Preferred Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment (1-2 years)
- Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, German, French)
- Knowledge of Abu Dhabi and UAE culture and attractions
