Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as General Laborers. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Sharjah, UAE. We understand the challenges of relocation, and as such, we are pleased to offer comprehensive visa sponsorship and comfortable accommodation for successful candidates. You will be responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks to support the efficient operation of our facilities and projects, ensuring high standards of safety and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform various manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials and equipment.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, plumbers, electricians) with their tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with the setup and teardown of temporary structures or event materials.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding manual tasks.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a general labor or similar role.
- Basic communication skills in English or Arabic.
- Understanding of construction or facilities maintenance practices.
