Join Kiewit’s dynamic road crew as a General Laborer and Flagger, an essential role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our construction projects. We provide comprehensive flagging certification to all successful candidates, equipping you with the skills needed to excel. You will work as part of a dedicated team, contributing to critical infrastructure development in the Tacoma area.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently direct traffic around construction sites, following all established procedures and regulations.
- Set up and maintain temporary traffic control devices, including signs, cones, and barricades.
- Assist skilled tradespeople and equipment operators with various tasks on the job site.
- Perform general labor duties such as site preparation, material handling, and cleanup.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and the public.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in daily safety briefings and training sessions.
