Job Description

We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as General Labor – Packaging Associates. In this vital role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the packaging and handling of goods within our fast-paced distribution center. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately sort, scan, and load packages onto conveyor belts or into vehicles, ensuring correct destination and secure placement.
• Inspect packages for damage, defects, and proper labeling, reporting any discrepancies or issues immediately.
• Operate basic material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely and efficiently after receiving training.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, strictly adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall packaging, distribution, and logistics processes.

Required Skills

• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 70 lbs independently and repeatedly throughout a shift.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, especially when handling labels and package information.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for maintaining operational schedules.
• Basic literacy skills (reading labels, following written instructions, understanding safety signs).

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience (6 months or more) in a warehouse, production, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
• Experience with parcel handling, shipping, or receiving operations.
