Join the International Paper team in Downtown Memphis as a General Laborer in our Packaging department. We are looking for dedicated and efficient individuals to support our production lines. This role involves various tasks related to the packaging of our high-quality products, ensuring they meet company standards and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging machinery, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
• Perform manual tasks such as lifting, stacking, and moving finished products and raw materials.
• Conduct quality checks on packaged goods to ensure they meet specifications.
• Load and unload materials from production lines, trucks, or storage areas.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Assist with inventory management and material replenishment as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain workflow.

Required Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or packaging role.
• Experience operating basic production or material handling equipment.
• Forklift certification (not required, but a plus).
