Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our manufacturing team as General Laborers. In this vital role, you will support our production processes, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities. This is an on-site position based in Burnaby, British Columbia, essential for contributing to the assembly and production of our innovative fuel cell technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials, components, and finished products.
- Operate basic manufacturing equipment and tools under supervision.
- Perform general assembly and kitting tasks as required by production schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Support inventory management through accurate counting and record-keeping.
- Transport materials within the facility using pallet jacks or other equipment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and safety protocols.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (6 months preferred).
- Forklift operator certification.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience with basic hand and power tools.
