Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our manufacturing team as General Laborers. In this role, you will play a crucial part in various stages of our shipbuilding and manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality output and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks, including material handling, loading, and unloading supplies.
• Assist skilled tradespersons with various tasks as needed, such as welding, fitting, and painting support.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Support production lines by moving products, components, and equipment.
• Conduct quality checks on materials and finished products as instructed.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.

Required Skills

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow strict safety guidelines.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment.
• Forklift certification or experience operating other heavy equipment.
• First Aid and/or WHMIS certification.
