Job Description
Aramex is seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as General Helpers at our Jebel Ali Free Zone facility in Dubai. This is an immediate start position offering comprehensive support, including visa sponsorship and accommodation. As a General Helper, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics and warehousing processes, contributing to our mission of connecting the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading goods from trucks and containers, ensuring careful handling.
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations according to company guidelines.
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Support packaging and sorting of shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely, under supervision if required.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and company operational policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions in English.
- Good physical stamina and capability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 kg.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team setting.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar industrial environment is an advantage.
