Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and motivated General Helper to join our dynamic team at Jumeirah Group in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai. This essential role supports various operational functions, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess a strong work ethic, and be eager to contribute to a world-class hospitality environment. This position offers an immediate start and includes visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily operational tasks across different departments as required, including housekeeping, F&B support, or general facility maintenance.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in assigned areas.
- Handle and transport materials, supplies, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support skilled tradespersons with tasks such as fetching tools, preparing work areas, and clearing debris.
- Ensure all work areas are kept tidy, organized, and free from hazards.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly to supervision.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Carry out other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic communication skills in English to understand instructions and communicate with colleagues.
