Job Description

In this essential role, you will be responsible for carefully inspecting, sorting, and packing a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables to meet our high quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Inspect fruits and vegetables for quality, ripeness, and defects.
• Sort and grade produce according to company standards and customer specifications.
• Accurately weigh, label, and pack products into appropriate containers (boxes, bags, crates).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Operate basic packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Required Skills

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene principles.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, food production, or packing environment.
• Knowledge of various fruit and vegetable varieties and quality indicators.
