Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all required training programs to obtain forklift operator certification.
  • Under supervision, safely and efficiently operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
  • Perform daily equipment checks and minor maintenance tasks (e.g., battery checks) to ensure safe operation.
  • Assist with inventory management, including counting, scanning, and organizing materials according to warehouse procedures.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
  • Basic mathematical skills for inventory tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and equipment.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (even if not forklift-related).
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Valid driver's license.
