Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Flutter Developer to join our dynamic engineering team in Edinburgh. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness of applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends and technologies, particularly within the Flutter ecosystem.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions for mobile solutions.
- Work effectively in an Agile development environment.
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility and responsiveness.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Flutter and Dart.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and deploying mobile applications to both iOS and Android platforms.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with state management solutions (e.g., Provider, Riverpod, BLoC).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and integration.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
- Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with native mobile development (Swift/Kotlin/Java) is a plus.
