Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team in Montreal. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed financial reports, including variance analysis, budget vs. actuals, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, presenting findings to management.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Support strategic initiatives by providing financial due diligence and impact assessments.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for financial processes and systems.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial analyst role.
• Proven proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial functions).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (English and/or French).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Eligibility for visa sponsorship in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

• CFA or CPA designation (or in progress).
• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with financial planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Bilingualism (English and French).
