Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team in Liverpool. Key Responsibilities
- Perform financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting to support strategic decision-making.

- Conduct in-depth variance analysis between actual results and forecasts/budgets, providing actionable insights.
- Support the annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Collaborate with various business units to understand financial performance and provide analytical support.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
- Identify and drive process improvements within the finance function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, CIMA) is a plus.
- Experience with financial planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Bloomberg).
- Prior experience in the financial services industry.
