Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team in Liverpool. Key Responsibilities

• Perform financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth variance analysis between actual results and forecasts/budgets, providing actionable insights.
• Support the annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with various business units to understand financial performance and provide analytical support.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
• Identify and drive process improvements within the finance function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, CIMA) is a plus.
• Experience with financial planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Bloomberg).
• Prior experience in the financial services industry.
• Experience working in an international or multicultural environment.
