Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as a Farm Worker for General Duties. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for those passionate about working outdoors and contributing to the agricultural sector, even without prior experience. You will be an integral part of our farm operations, performing a variety of tasks crucial to daily functioning. This role requires physical fitness, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and adapt. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the care and feeding of livestock, including cattle, sheep, and pigs.
- Perform general crop duties such as planting, weeding, harvesting, and pest control.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors and ATVs (training provided where necessary).
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs of farm buildings, fences, and equipment.
- Ensure farm hygiene and cleanliness, including cleaning pens, barns, and storage areas.
- Support experienced farm staff with various daily tasks and seasonal projects.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and procedures on the farm.
- Monitor animal health and report any concerns to supervisors.
- Participate in manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and digging.
