Join the Berry Gardens team as a Seasonal Farm Worker for our upcoming fruit harvest in Maidstone, Kent. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals who are keen to learn and ready for a physically active role during the peak harvest season.

Key Responsibilities

• Carefully pick and harvest various soft fruits, primarily strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Pack fruit into punnets or trays according to specific guidelines.
• Assist with general farm duties such as weeding, plant maintenance, and field preparation as required.
• Operate basic farm machinery or equipment under supervision, if trained.
• Adhere to strict food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a team, following instructions from supervisors.

Required Skills

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail for quality picking.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in agricultural work, fruit picking, or similar outdoor labour roles.
• Basic understanding of English for safety instructions.
• Own transport or ability to travel to the farm location daily.
