Job Description
Are you seeking a dynamic and active role outdoors? Warburtons is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Farm Harvest Workers to join our agricultural support team in Newcastle upon Tyne. This temporary position is crucial for ensuring the timely and efficient harvest of seasonal produce, supporting our commitment to fresh, quality ingredients. You’ll play a vital role in our supply chain, working directly with crops in a fast-paced and rewarding outdoor environment. This role offers the opportunity to be paid weekly, contributing to essential food production.
Key Responsibilities
- Harvesting various crops by hand or using basic tools, following specific quality guidelines.
- Sorting, grading, and packing freshly harvested produce directly in the field.
- Operating and maintaining basic farm equipment under supervision.
- Assisting with field preparation, planting, and other general farm duties as required.
- Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily harvest targets.
