Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking Farm Harvest Workers to join our team for the upcoming harvest season. This temporary position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, contributing directly to the journey of fresh produce from farm to fork. You will be an integral part of our harvesting operations, ensuring the efficient and careful collection of crops. This role is physically demanding and requires a commitment to quality and teamwork in varying weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Harvesting a variety of crops by hand or with the aid of machinery, following strict quality guidelines
• Sorting and grading produce to ensure only the highest quality items are prepared for packaging
• Packing harvested produce into crates or containers, ensuring correct quantities and presentation
• Operating and maintaining basic farm equipment as directed, ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Assisting with field preparation and general farm maintenance tasks as required
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
• Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily production targets

Required Skills

• Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks for extended periods outdoors
• Ability to work effectively in varying weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, dry)
• Strong work ethic and reliability, with a punctual approach to work
• Attention to detail to ensure quality control in harvesting and packing
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a farm or agricultural setting
• Knowledge of different crop types and harvesting techniques
• Experience operating agricultural machinery or equipment
• Full UK driving licence and access to personal transport due to farm location
