Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Farm & Harvest Workers to join our teams across various farms in the Bridge of Don, Aberdeen area. This is a seasonal, temporary position, perfect for individuals looking for immediate start work in a vital industry. You will be involved in a variety of tasks crucial to daily farm operations and the busy harvest season, contributing directly to the production of high-quality produce. This role requires physical fitness, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting various crops (e.g., cereals, root crops, vegetables).
  • Operate basic farm machinery and equipment under supervision (e.g., tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems).
  • Perform general farm maintenance, including fencing, cleaning, and repairs.
  • Care for livestock, including feeding, cleaning enclosures, and monitoring animal health.
  • Sort, grade, and pack harvested produce for market.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and farm protocols.
  • Report any issues or concerns to the farm manager promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with other farm staff to ensure efficient operations.
