Job Description

Cargill is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Seasonal Farm Hand in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Key Responsibilities

• Performing tasks related to crop cultivation, including planting, weeding, irrigating, and harvesting various crops.
• Assisting with the care and feeding of livestock, ensuring their well-being and health.
• Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment, such as tractors, tillers, and harvesters, following safety guidelines.
• Conducting general farm maintenance, including fence repair, building upkeep, and grounds cleaning.
• Monitoring crop health and identifying any signs of disease or pests, reporting findings to supervisors.
• Participating in loading and unloading of farm produce and supplies.
• Adhering to all farm safety protocols and agricultural best practices.
• Working collaboratively with other farm staff to ensure efficient and productive operations.

Required Skills

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, often in various weather conditions.
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic understanding of farm operations or a willingness to learn quickly.
• Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working on a farm or in an agricultural setting.
• Experience operating farm machinery (e.g., tractors, skid steers).
• Knowledge of animal husbandry and care.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
