Job Description
Join G’s Fresh as a Farm Hand and become an integral part of our farming operations in Manchester. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to learn about agriculture and contribute to the production of high-quality fresh produce. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided. You will support various farm tasks, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations and contributing to the success of our harvests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with crop planting, cultivation, and harvesting activities as directed by farm supervisors.
- Operate and maintain basic farm machinery and equipment under supervision (e.g., tractors, irrigators), following safety guidelines.
- Perform general farm maintenance tasks, including fencing, weeding, and clearing debris.
- Monitor crop health and report any issues such as pests, diseases, or watering needs.
- Prepare produce for packing and transport, ensuring quality standards are met.
