Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily animal care, including feeding, watering, and monitoring animal health and welfare.
• Perform general farm maintenance and repairs, such as fencing, cleaning barns, and equipment upkeep.
• Operate basic farm machinery and tools under supervision (e.g., tractors, mowers, hand tools).
• Support planting, cultivating, and harvesting activities as needed for various crops.
• Clean and sanitize farm facilities, equipment, and livestock areas to maintain high standards of hygiene.
• Assist with moving and handling livestock safely and humanely.
• Maintain accurate records of daily tasks, animal observations, and feed consumption.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and farm policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with farm management and team members regarding observations and needs.

Required Skills

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced farm staff.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic understanding of animal welfare or agricultural practices (even from hobbies or personal interest).
• Basic mechanical aptitude for simple equipment maintenance.
