Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Farm and Agricultural Workers to join our team in Gilbert, Arizona, for year-round employment. This is a vital role responsible for various tasks associated with crop production, harvesting, and general farm maintenance. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and possess a strong work ethic, with a commitment to agricultural best practices and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks related to crop cultivation, including planting, weeding, pruning, and thinning.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with the harvesting of various crops, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Monitor crop health, identify pests or diseases, and report findings to supervisors.
- Carry out irrigation tasks, including setting up and moving irrigation equipment.
- Perform general farm maintenance, including fence repair, building upkeep, and field preparation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and agricultural regulations.
- Assist with packaging and loading harvested produce as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of farm areas and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with the farm team to achieve production goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of agricultural practices and crop cycles.
- Experience operating farm equipment (tractors, forkllifts, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of experience in a farm or agricultural setting.
