Job Description
We are immediately hiring Factory Packers to join our dynamic team in Gilbert, Arizona. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations, responsible for accurately and efficiently packing various products for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. We offer multiple shifts to accommodate different schedules, providing flexibility and opportunities for growth within our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and accurately pack customer orders according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Inspect products for quality and damage before packing, reporting any discrepancies.
- Operate basic packing machinery and equipment as needed, following safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, including sorting, labeling, and material handling.
- Lift and move packages weighing up to 49 pounds regularly.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to lift, bend, stoop, reach, and push.
- Basic math skills for counting and verification.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or packing role.
- Experience with inventory management systems or handheld scanners.
