Job Description
We are immediately hiring a dedicated and efficient Factory Packer to join our dynamic team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. As a Factory Packer, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing and distribution process, ensuring that our high-quality products are accurately packed, labeled, and prepared for shipment. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack finished products into appropriate boxes or containers.
- Inspect products for quality defects before packaging.
- Attach correct labels, barcodes, and shipping information to packages.
- Operate basic packing machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic reading and writing skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or packing role.
- Experience with inventory systems or scanning equipment.
- Forklift certification (not required, but a plus).
