Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Factory Assembly Operative to join our team in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in manufacturing and gain valuable hands-on experience. As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for assembling various components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality output, and contributing to the efficient operation of our factory. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to all new hires.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical or electrical components, sub-assemblies, and final products following blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments as required.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Report any defects, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and willingness to adhere to them.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
