Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Nanny to provide exceptional care for a private family affiliated with MGM Resorts International in Henderson, Nevada. This live-out or live-in position requires a professional who is passionate about child development, capable of managing daily routines, and committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with school-aged children, a proactive approach to household support, and cultural sensitivity. Visa sponsorship will be provided for the right international candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive childcare for school-aged children, including supervision, educational support, and engaging activities.
- Assist with children's daily routines, including meal preparation, dressing, hygiene, and bedtime.
- Plan and organize age-appropriate educational games, crafts, and outdoor activities.
- Transport children to and from school, appointments, and extracurricular activities as needed.
- Maintain a tidy and organized environment for the children's areas, including toys, playrooms, and bedrooms.
- Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents regarding children's progress, schedules, and any concerns.
- Manage children's laundry and ensure their belongings are clean and well-maintained.
- Assist with light household duties related to the children, ensuring a clean and safe living space.
- Travel with the family as required for vacations or extended stays.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of professional nanny experience with verifiable references.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Discretion and respect for privacy.
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to pass extensive background checks.
