Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on various industrial equipment, including conveyors, pumps, motors, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems and perform repairs promptly and effectively.
• Install, align, and test new machinery and equipment according to specifications and blueprints.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct precision measurements and alignments using specialized tools.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.
• Collaborate with production teams and other maintenance personnel to coordinate repair activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on equipment status.
• Suggest improvements to maintenance procedures and equipment reliability.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Millwright in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Expertise in the operation and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Competence in using a wide range of hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman Millwright certification or equivalent.
• Experience with PLC diagnostics and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Welding and fabrication skills (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Associate's degree or technical diploma in industrial mechanics or a related field.
