Job Description

ASM Global is seeking energetic and reliable General Labor Event Crew members to support a variety of events at our Tacoma venues. This is a temporary, on-call position perfect for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy contributing to the success of concerts, sporting events, trade shows, and more. If you’re physically fit, a team player, and ready to jump in where needed, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup and tear down, including moving equipment, staging, seating, and décor.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring safe handling of various materials.
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties before, during, and after events.
- Support technical teams with stagehand duties, rigging, and sound/lighting setup as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Adapt to changing event needs and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varying noise levels.
- Excellent reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a general labor, events, or production environment.
- Familiarity with venue operations or event logistics.
- Forklift certification or experience operating other heavy machinery (where applicable).
