Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Estate Manager to oversee the comprehensive operations of a prestigious private estate located in the exclusive River Oaks neighborhood of Houston, TX. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of luxury property management, household staff supervision, and a proactive approach to ensuring the highest standards of maintenance, security, and functionality. The Estate Manager will act as the primary point of contact for all estate-related matters, working closely with the owners to anticipate needs and deliver seamless, discreet service. This is a hands-on, on-site position demanding exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining the privacy and comfort of the estate’s residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the estate's operations, including property maintenance, household staffing, security, and vendor relations.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise household staff (housekeepers, groundskeepers, security personnel, etc.), ensuring high performance and adherence to standards.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive budgets for all estate expenditures, tracking expenses and providing regular financial reports.
  • Oversee all renovations, repairs, and improvement projects, coordinating with architects, designers, and contractors.
  • Implement and maintain sophisticated security systems and protocols to ensure the safety and privacy of the estate.
  • Manage household inventories, including fine art, wine collections, and luxury vehicles.
  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all estate systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping).
  • Act as a primary liaison with external vendors, contractors, and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality of service.
  • Handle all administrative tasks related to the estate, including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping.
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations, permits, and insurance requirements.
  • Anticipate the needs of the estate owners and proactively implement solutions to enhance comfort and efficiency.

  • Proven experience in luxury estate management or high-end residential property management.
