Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental Engineer to join our dynamic team in Stamford, CT. This crucial role involves contributing to a wide range of environmental projects, focusing on compliance, remediation, and sustainable development. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and prepare associated reports.
  • Design and implement remediation strategies for contaminated sites.
  • Perform site investigations, data analysis, and interpret regulatory requirements.
  • Develop environmental management plans and assist clients with regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare technical specifications, calculations, and cost estimates for projects.
  • Liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Manage project tasks, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Stay current with environmental regulations, best practices, and technological advancements.
  • Participate in proposals and business development efforts as required.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in environmental consulting or related industry.
  • Proficiency in environmental regulations (e.g., CERCLA, RCRA, CWA, NEPA).
  • Experience with site investigation, remediation design, and project management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing technical reports and presentations.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one within 1-2 years.
  • Experience with GIS software and environmental modeling tools.
  • HAZWOPER 40-hour certification.
  • Prior experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Fluency in additional languages.
