Join the FedEx team as an Entry-Level Warehouse Material Handler in Fairbanks, Alaska! Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently load, unload, sort, and move packages and freight by hand or using basic material handling equipment.
• Scan packages and input data into tracking systems accurately.
• Inspect packages for damage and report any discrepancies.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operational flow and meet daily deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required Skills

• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
• No prior experience required; comprehensive training will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or physical labor role (preferred but not required).
• Basic computer literacy.
