Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Entry-Level TikTok Growth Assistant to join our dynamic digital marketing team. This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic individual passionate about social media trends, content creation, and community engagement on TikTok. You will play a crucial role in expanding Safaricom’s reach, increasing brand visibility, and driving engagement on one of the fastest-growing social media platforms. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the chance to contribute to a leading Kenyan brand from anywhere in Kenya.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of TikTok content strategies to align with brand objectives.
- Research trending sounds, challenges, and content formats on TikTok to inform content creation.
- Support the creation of engaging video content, including scripting, filming (self-recorded as needed), and basic editing for TikTok.
- Monitor and analyze TikTok performance metrics, providing regular reports on growth, engagement, and reach.
- Engage with the TikTok community by responding to comments, managing direct messages, and fostering positive interactions.
- Collaborate with the broader marketing team to ensure brand consistency and integrate TikTok campaigns with other digital initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with TikTok algorithm changes, best practices, and emerging features.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated passion for TikTok and strong understanding of its platform features and trends.
- Basic video editing skills (e.g., CapCut, TikTok's in-app editor).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Creative thinking and ability to generate fresh content ideas.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience managing a personal or brand TikTok account with demonstrable growth.
