Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry-Level Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team for a paid internship. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring digital marketing professional to gain hands-on experience in managing social media channels for a large, impactful brand. You will support our social media strategy, content creation, community engagement, and performance reporting, contributing directly to our brand’s online presence and engagement goals. This position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of social media content calendars across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
- Create engaging text, image, and video content that aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, mentions, and conversations, and report on relevant insights.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the scheduling and publishing of social media posts using social media management tools.
- Contribute to the analysis of social media performance data, preparing reports on key metrics and campaign effectiveness.
- Research competitor activities and industry best practices to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the broader marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging across all digital touchpoints.
Required Skills
