Job Description
Meta is looking for passionate and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Remote Content Moderators. This is a unique opportunity for individuals with no prior experience in content moderation, as comprehensive training will be provided. As a Content Moderator, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and positive experience for users across Meta’s family of applications. You will be responsible for reviewing user-generated content, identifying violations of our community standards, and making informed decisions to uphold platform integrity. This position is 100% remote, allowing you to contribute from anywhere within Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Review user-generated content (e.g., text, images, videos) to ensure compliance with Meta's community standards and guidelines.
- Accurately identify and categorize content violations, including hate speech, misinformation, graphic violence, and spam.
- Make consistent and objective decisions on content moderation, escalating complex cases to senior team members when necessary.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and quality in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay updated on evolving community standards, policies, and product changes.
- Contribute to ongoing efforts to improve moderation processes and tools.
Required Skills
