Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as an Entry-Level Hotel Receptionist at our prestigious Montreal location. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome and register guests upon arrival, processing check-ins efficiently and accurately
  • Manage guest reservations, including new bookings, modifications, and cancellations, ensuring all details are correctly recorded
  • Process payments, handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate guest accounts in accordance with hotel policies
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals
  • Provide detailed information about hotel services, facilities, local attractions, and dining options
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction
  • Collaborate closely with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping, concierge, and bell services, to ensure a smooth and coordinated guest experience
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area at all times
  • Handle guest mail, messages, and faxes as required
  • Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned by management

Required Skills

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a polite and friendly demeanor
  • Strong customer service orientation and a genuine desire to assist and serve guests
  • Ability to work effectively and remain calm in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications
