Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and motivated Entry-Level Hotel Laundry Attendant to join our team at a Hilton property in Omaha. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in hospitality without prior experience. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and pristine experience by maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and order for all linens and uniforms. You will be responsible for the efficient operation of laundry equipment, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing laundry items. Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial washing and drying equipment efficiently and safely.
• Sort soiled linens, towels, and uniforms according to type and color.
• Load and unload machines, ensuring proper chemical dosage and water temperature.
• Fold, iron, and press clean linens to meet hotel standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Inspect linens for stains or damage, reporting any issues to management.
• Assist with inventory counts and restocking supplies as needed.
• Adhere to all hotel safety and sanitation guidelines.

Required Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift (up to 25 lbs), and push/pull carts throughout the shift.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of laundry equipment operation (training provided).
• Prior experience in a physically demanding role.
