Join our dynamic Risk Advisory team as an Entry-Level Digital Systems Auditor. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting with the evaluation of IT controls, identifying system vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior auditors in performing IT general controls (ITGC) and application control reviews across various client environments.
• Support the team in conducting comprehensive digital systems audits, covering infrastructure, applications, databases, and network security.
• Document audit findings, control deficiencies, recommendations, and gather supporting evidence in adherence to professional standards.
• Participate in understanding client business processes and IT landscapes to effectively assess risks.
• Learn and apply various audit methodologies, frameworks, and tools relevant to digital systems auditing.
• Assist in preparing clear, concise, and impactful audit reports and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging cybersecurity threats, data privacy regulations, and audit best practices.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Basic understanding of IT systems, networking concepts, and database principles.
• Strong analytical acumen and excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
• A keen interest in cybersecurity, IT risk, and auditing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of widely recognized IT control frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, or NIST.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and data privacy regulations (e.g., Kenyan Data Protection Act, GDPR).
• Prior internship or academic project experience in IT, audit, risk management, or a related technical field.
• Actively pursuing or a demonstrated interest in professional certifications like CISA, CompTIA Security+, or relevant vendor certifications.
