PwC is seeking an enthusiastic and analytical Entry-Level Digital Systems Auditor to join our dynamic team in Peterborough. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior auditors in evaluating the effectiveness of IT general controls (e.g., access management, change management, backup and recovery).
• Support the assessment of IT application controls and automated business processes across various client systems.
• Conduct data analysis using audit software to identify anomalies, trends, and potential risks.
• Document audit procedures, findings, and recommendations clearly and concisely.
• Participate in client meetings and interviews to gather information and understand their digital systems.
• Learn and apply PwC's audit methodologies, tools, and technologies.
• Contribute to the development of audit work papers and reports.
• Stay informed about current and emerging IT risks, cybersecurity threats, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Business Administration with an IT focus, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and common software applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated interest in IT audit, risk management, or cybersecurity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with data analysis tools or audit software (e.g., ACL, IDEA, SQL).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Relevant internship experience in IT, audit, or a related field.
• Participation in academic projects involving system analysis, database management, or network security.
• Aspiration to pursue professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or ACA/ACCA.
