Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior auditors in evaluating the effectiveness of IT general controls (e.g., access management, change management, backup and recovery).
- Support the assessment of IT application controls and automated business processes across various client systems.
- Conduct data analysis using audit software to identify anomalies, trends, and potential risks.
- Document audit procedures, findings, and recommendations clearly and concisely.
- Participate in client meetings and interviews to gather information and understand their digital systems.
- Learn and apply PwC's audit methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Contribute to the development of audit work papers and reports.
- Stay informed about current and emerging IT risks, cybersecurity threats, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Business Administration with an IT focus, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and common software applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated interest in IT audit, risk management, or cybersecurity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with data analysis tools or audit software (e.g., ACL, IDEA, SQL).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Relevant internship experience in IT, audit, or a related field.
- Participation in academic projects involving system analysis, database management, or network security.
