Job Description
Sundt Construction is seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as an Entry-Level Construction General Helper in Tucson, Arizona. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the construction industry with no prior experience. You will work alongside experienced professionals, assisting with various tasks to support construction projects. We provide on-the-job training and a supportive environment for you to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, masons, and electricians.
- Perform general labor duties, including site clean-up, debris removal, and material handling.
- Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Prepare work areas by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Learn and apply new construction techniques and practices.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical labor, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and stand for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of safety practices (or willingness to learn immediately).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
