Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic team in Eastbourne, East Sussex. This is a unique opportunity to shape the technological future of our clients across various industries. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure enterprise solutions, aligning technology strategy with business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of complex enterprise solutions across various client projects.
- Define and enforce architectural standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into viable technical architectures.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies, making recommendations for their strategic adoption.
- Ensure the scalability, security, performance, and maintainability of all architectural solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including blueprints, roadmaps, and guidelines.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in enterprise architecture practices and methodologies.
- Act as a subject matter expert for architectural best practices and industry trends.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (10+ years) as an Enterprise Architect in a large-scale, complex IT environment.
- Strong understanding and practical application of architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Expertise in designing and implementing solutions on major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Proficiency across various architectural domains: application, data, infrastructure, security, and integration.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking capabilities.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- TOGAF 9 Certification (or equivalent enterprise architecture certification).
- Experience in specific industry sectors relevant to Accenture's client base (e.g., Financial Services, Public Sector, Health & Public Service, Products).
- Knowledge and practical experience with emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), and Quantum Computing.
- Experience with enterprise-level security architecture and compliance standards.
