Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated English-Speaking Travel Advisor to join our dynamic team in Hamburg. This role is perfect for individuals with a love for travel and a talent for creating exceptional experiences for clients. You will be responsible for advising international clients on various travel options, booking itineraries, and providing comprehensive travel support. Fluency in English is essential, and importantly, no German language skills are required for this position, as you will primarily serve our English-speaking clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and personalized recommendations on travel destinations, products, and services to English-speaking clients.
- Book flights, accommodations, car rentals, tours, and other travel components using various reservation systems.
- Develop customized travel itineraries that meet clients' specific needs, preferences, and budgets.
- Process bookings, payments, and cancellations efficiently and accurately.
- Resolve client inquiries and travel-related issues with professionalism and a client-first approach.
- Stay updated on travel trends, destination information, and industry developments.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven experience in the travel and tourism industry (e.g., travel agent, tour operator, airline representative).
- Strong sales and customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in using travel booking systems (GDS a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
