Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated English Speaking Bar & Restaurant Staff to join our dynamic team in Hamburg. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and service, eager to work in an international environment where English is the primary language of communication. You will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring high standards of service in our hotel’s bar and restaurant venues. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, answer questions about food and beverage items, and make recommendations.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
- Prepare and mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes.
- Process guest payments accurately and handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, bar, and service stations.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for service and events.
- Respond to guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues to satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Fluent in English (verbal and written communication).
- Proven experience in a bar or restaurant setting.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Certification in food safety and hygiene.
- Additional language skills are a plus, but not required for this English-speaking role.
