Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Energy Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hamilton, Ontario. This role is crucial in supporting our energy management solutions and projects across various industrial and commercial clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting energy audits, developing energy efficiency recommendations, implementing renewable energy solutions, and providing technical support for complex energy systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement renewable energy systems (e.g., solar PV, wind, biomass) and smart grid solutions.
  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and optimization of energy management systems and equipment.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for energy-related projects from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in energy engineering.
  • Support clients in achieving energy certifications and compliance with environmental standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in energy engineering, energy management, or renewable energy.
  • Proven experience with energy auditing software and methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, industrial processes, building automation, and power systems.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and simulation software relevant to energy systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and client presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Eligibility for professional engineering licensure in Canada upon arrival.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Energy Engineering or a related discipline.
