Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Domestic Couple for a private residence located in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton. This is a full-time, on-site live-in position, ideal for a professional couple looking to commit long-term to a welcoming yet busy household. The role requires a proactive and organized team to manage the daily operations of a large family home, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness, household maintenance, and personal service. The principals travel frequently, and the couple will be responsible for maintaining security and readiness of the property. This role demands excellent communication, discretion, and a flexible approach to duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning, tidying, and organization of all areas of the residence to an exceptionally high standard.
 - Laundry, ironing, and care of delicate fabrics.
 - Deep cleaning tasks as required.
 - Managing household inventories (cleaning supplies, linens, etc.).
 - Preparation of fresh, healthy meals for the family (and occasional guests), adapting to dietary requirements.
 - Grocery shopping and kitchen management.
 - Serving at informal and formal events as required.
 - Maintenance of gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas (planting, pruning, mowing).
 - Ensuring the exterior of the property is always well-maintained.
 - Basic pool maintenance (if applicable).
 - General household maintenance and minor repairs (e.g., changing light bulbs, basic plumbing, painting touch-ups).
 - Coordination with external contractors for larger repairs or specialist services.
 - Ensuring all household systems (heating, alarm, etc.) are in good working order.
 - Chauffeuring principals or guests as required.
 - Managing vehicle maintenance, cleaning, and registration.
 - Running errands (e.g., post office, dry cleaning).
 - Ensuring the security of the property at all times, including during periods when the principals are away.
 - Managing deliveries and contractors.
 - Basic administrative tasks, record-keeping, and managing household accounts/budgets.
 - Pet care (if applicable, typically dogs).
 
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Domestic Couple in a similar private household environment (minimum 5 years combined).
 - Excellent culinary skills with an ability to cater to various preferences.
 - Proficiency in all aspects of high-end housekeeping and laundry management.
 - Strong gardening and property maintenance skills.
 - Full, clean UK driving licenses for both candidates.
 - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
 - Discreet, trustworthy, and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
