Job Description
As a Distribution Centre Operative at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in our logistics network, ensuring that products are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and accurately. This role involves physical activity, including lifting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, preparing them for shipment.
- Operate various equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided), in a safe and responsible manner.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and maintain high productivity.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds regularly, and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

Preferred Qualifications
