Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unpack shipments, verifying contents against packing lists.
- Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined inventory procedures.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, after proper certification and training (if applicable).
- Pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Pack, seal, and label orders for shipping.
- Load and unload trucks, manually or with equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Comfortable working in an environment that may have varying temperatures, noise levels, and some dust.
- Basic computer navigation skills for inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics setting.
