Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Manchester, United Kingdom. Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage security tools and processes within the CI/CD pipeline.
• Automate security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA) and integrate it into development workflows.
• Conduct security code reviews and provide remediation guidance to development teams.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats.
• Design and implement secure infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security best practices.
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
• Participate in architectural reviews to ensure security by design.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and relevant tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Hands-on experience with security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security features.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and their security implications.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, CSSLP, CompTIA Security+).
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Background in software development or operations roles.
• Experience with security monitoring and SIEM tools.
